This 6' long extension cable is typically used to extend the SIMP (36 pin with chrome hood) cable to the back of your UBC box. Most of the 36 Pin harnesses (cable that connects all of your mechanical buttons to the side of the SIMP TV) are to short to reach around to the back of the UBC case.
